iWown i5 Plus Review

Today, we’re here to show you one of the best options in the smart band market right now, of course, if you’re looking for great benefits at an amazing price. Also, if you’re looking for an all.-terrain smart band that also incorporates a tactile screen and has a waterproof design, then the answer to your prayers has a name, and that name is iWown i5 Plus.

Design and Materials:

Now then, we’re talking about something we’re going to be wearing all day or at least a great part of it, so that means it has to be comfortable because it doesn’t matter if a smart band or a smartwatch have great specifications if you can’t even wear them. This is not the case with the iWown, the people in charge of this device managed to create a device that can adapt to our needs, mostly in the health and sports section, without having to forsake the comfort.

This smart band presents very simple design lines so that it can perfectly adapt to any situation or wardrobe. This band comes in 3 different colors: red, blue, and black.
As for the measurements, we have 22 x 1.9 x 0.90 cm and a weight of 24 grams, this kind of devices is way lighter than the smartwatches. The strap is made out of thermoplastic polyurethane which is comfortable and can also resist the torsion; for a better grip, we have a double lock.
Something very important that we have to point out is that this device counts with IP67 protection, it’s dust-resistant and it’s also waterproof, although it can only last 30 minutes under water at a depth of 1 meter. It’s kind of tight if we like to swim, but at least you won’t have to worry about taking it off before showering or protecting it against the rain. Also, this device doesn’t include any buttons so we’ll have to move through it by using the tactile screen.

Display:

We have a 0.91 inches OLED panel with a resolution of 128 x 32 pixels. The OLED technology will grant us a better autonomy and visualization since the display consists of a dark background with white letters.
Despite the fact that it doesn’t have any brightness regulation feature, the information on the screen is completely visible from any angles. Another thing we really liked is the LED notification; it’s a white intermittent light.

Battery:

Most smart bands don’t have a particularly nice battery capacity; most of them will provide us at max, 5 days of autonomy. Now, you might be thinking: “But 5 days is actually not that bad” and well you’re right, but there’s a little detail, this particular smartwatch can have an autonomy of at least 5 days, the maximum is a whole week. The battery capacity of this band is 75 mAh and it takes half an hour to get fully charged. This battery is indeed superior to any other smart band battery.

Compatibility:

If you really want to take advantage and enjoy this to its fullest, then you have to link it with your smartphone. For this very reason, the band comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and its compatible with Android 4.3 and above and with iOS 7.0 or above.

A really affordable smart band that has a ton of useful features and has a really comfortable design, what else can we ask for? This is pretty much a gift, if you don’t want to spend a fortune on a smart band, then you can just get the iWown i5 plus, it has a great design that adapts to pretty much any situation and a whole ton of features, also, the price is ridiculous, not buying it would be a crime. Of course, it has its flaws but it’s nothing big, we highly recommend this product and even more if you love doing exercise.
