DOOGEE X5 Review

Recently DOOGEE launched its latest smartphone X5, a dual sim phone at an unbelievable price tag for the costumers. X5 comes with amazing features including 720p HD display, 5MP primary and 2MP secondry shooter and a 8GB ROM+1GB RAM which is powered by MTK-6580 Quad-core MediaTek chipset. Double tap to wake up the screen feature (aka DTW) is also included within the kernel where just double tapping anywhere on the screen wakes up your device adding more ease instead of using the hardware buttons. X5 runs on latest android operating system 5.1 lollipop providing smooth as silk performance. Talking about the specifications in detail now,

DISPLAY:

X5 sports 5 inch IPS(In Panel Screen) LCD display with a resolution of 1280×720 and has a pixel density of 294 PPI, which is also a multi touch screen. Viewing experience is great with rich color reproduction and detailing. Considering the price, X5's display is best in its segment compared to all the other devices falling under this range.

PERFORMANCE:

DOOGEE X5 3G is powered by 32 bit MTK-6580, quad-core MediaTek chipset cloaked at 1.5 Ghz. Device is enriched with Mali 400 GPU in combo of 1GB of RAM & 8GB of storage. Since its a quad core processor hence it provides much better multitasking than dual cores. Processor is optimized to save upto 30% power consumption while gaming or during normal day to day use. X5 is running on latest Android version 5.1 lollipop which is a plus point since most of the other devices available around this price tag are running on version 5.0.1 or 5.0.2. But on the other hand Android 5.1 comes with features like Smart Wi-Fi, bouncy animations, Improved battery backup, those extra toggles etc. With new animations and tweaks while playing through apps and multitasking puts a smile on your face.

DOOGEE X5 3G comes with a 5 MP primary shooter and 2 MP secondary shooter for selfies and video calling.
