VKworld T6 Review
If you’ve never heard the term “phablet” let us explain; the phablets were born off a trend that consisted of giving bigger and bigger screen to the smartphones, pretty much screens the size of a tablet. These devices tend to have a screen bigger than 5.5 inches; the best thing about them is that they usually have a great set of specifications to accompany that huge screen, and such is the case of the VKworld T6.
So, now that we’ve clarified what a phablet is, we’d like to tell you about this particular phablet. This terminal has caught our attention because it offers amazing specifications for a really considerable price. A perfect option for those that need to pay the rent or just don’t want to spend all their salary in a smartphone.

Design:
You see, one of the biggest flaws of the phablets is that managing a phone so big can be really uncomfortable; nobody wants a phone that they consider uncomfortable; the people in charge of this terminal knew this, so they decided to give this huge device really comfortable design. We can perfectly say that the main design feature of this device is its curved rear area that gives this phablet a great ergonomic feel. It just fits so perfectly in our hand, unlike other devices of this kind.
The housing is made out of a corrugated material that makes managing this device really easy. Also, thanks to its rounded borders, the total dimensions of this phablet are considerably reduced.
And talking about dimensions, The VKworld T6 counts with a size of 16.20 x 8.30 x 0.80 cm and a total weight of 170 grams. Not the lightest or smallest device to ever be created, but after all, we’re talking about a phablet; they’re supposed to have this dimensions.
As for the looks of the VKworld T6, we can’t say there’s anything new and fresh to it; what we can say is that it has a really elegant look and it’s also really discrete. Our conclusion is that the looks on this phablet are nothing out of the world, but it’s absolutely not ugly, it just gives that classy and discrete feel.
Performance:
On the inside we can find an MTK6735 Quad-Core processor that works at a 1,0 GHz, this chipset is particularly featured in mid / high-end mobile devices. It has a magnificent performance at the time of multitasking and it will also grant really smooth performance for your typical everyday apps or games.
Talking about games, the GPU that comes along is high-end, this provides an immense visual experience proper of HD videos; we also have to mention that thanks to this bad boy you’ll be able to run the most recent and demanding games.
As for the memories, we have 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage memory which can be expanded to up to 64 GB with the use of a Micro SD memory card. The RAM is pretty much the standard for this kind of devices, although, some manufacturers just give their terminal 1 GB thinking that’s enough; so we can say that the RAM on this phablet is nothing special and at the same time it is. That storage memory is just beautiful, we can store tons of images and videos in here, and if you’re into gaming, then you’ll love it even more since it will allow you to have those really heavy and demanding games without having to worry about the space.
As for the operative system, we have an Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Display
As we said before, what makes a phablet what it is, is the size of its screen; this particular phablet has a 6 inches IPS panel that has a resolution of1280 x 720 pixels. It also counts with a vision angle of 178º, a 1200:1 contrast and a 550cd/m2 brightness. All of this can be easily appreciated at the time of watching a good video or a movie or even playing video games.
Everybody has suffered when they turn on their phones in a dark environment, we’re pretty much blinded for a couple of seconds; this device incorporates something called anti-blue light technology, what this does is that it keeps the brightness at a high level without distorting the image and at the same time reducing the power of those tones that tend to mess with our sight. That’s pretty much so that we don’t get blinded when turning it on in a dark place.
Also, the panel is made out of 2.5 D tempered crystal; this gives this device a really quality look, but not just that, you can feel the amazing quality of the screen just by sliding your finger through it.
It also counts with an oleophobic layer, what this does is eliminate all traces of oil of fingerprints. This is a great solution for a great problem, everybody hates seeing their screen all dirty and full of fingerprints; this is indeed a plus for this phablet.
Camera:
We have a really decent photographic section that includes a main camera of 8 MP interpolable to 13 MP and it also includes an LED flash. As for the frontal camera, we have 5 MP interpolable to 8 MP.
We’re really satisfied with the photographic performance of this device; it leaves a really good result both for normal pictures or selfies.
Battery:
The battery life of a mobile device is everything, it doesn’t matter if all your specifications are high-end, if you have the battery life of a watermelon then you won’t be able to use those specifications and it will be a real waste of money and time.
We’re glad to tell you that this isn’t the case; this phablet includes a very generous capacity of 3000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, thanks to this battery we’ll be able to browse the internet for 10 hours, play music for 72 hours, 24 hours of phone calls, and 350 hours on standby.
Of course, a device with a display like this one is bound to have a very nice battery capacity, otherwise, the battery will run out extremely fast and it would be kind of a disappointment.
Review:
We can see that the main issues with the phablets are solved here; this device is comfortable to use, has an incredible autonomy, the CPU is not that amazing but the GPU is just wonderful. We can’t really ask for anything else, this device is just wonderful, they thought about everything; the only thing we can complain about is that the design is really basic and somewhat generic, but that doesn’t matter too much since beauty is on the inside.
As we said before, this phablet is going to make those that enjoy games really happy, you’ll be able to run pretty much anything and you won’t have to worry about having enough space for your games, music, images, etc.
And the price is incredibly low for the benefits that this terminal provides, is kind of a crime to not buy it. We highly recommend this terminal, we simply loved it and we know that you’ll do too.
