It’s because they are, lately, there’s been a real uproar in the robotic vacuum industry, lots and lots of models are being launched, some better than others, some are just simply not that good. You see, this is industry is based on convenience, having a robot to clean your house so you don’t have to do it is a gigantic win for us; we don’t plan to buy a product that won’t do its job properly, we need to know what device will perform nicely and without any major issues. Design:

You might think that the design of a robotic vacuum doesn’t mean anything, but allow us to change your mind. These devices need to clean those pesky hard-to-get places, and thanks to their slim design they reach them easily. Everybody that has ever cleaned knows that cleaning under the couch is a real torture, but what seems like a torture for us, for these little guys it’s not a really a complication, it’s part of the job.

The Seebest D730 is no exception since it counts with only 3.43 inches of height, which means that there’s almost no place that this robot can’t go.

As for the weight we have a rather light device in our hands, almost 6 kg, it’s not that it’s super light, but it’s not heavy. Pretty much a standard weight.

Performance:

Something that really stands out in this kind of devices is the versatility, some robotic vacuums in the market can’t use water to clean, that turns the vacuums that can do that into really viable choices. And guess what? The Seebest D730 can do just that, it gives us the option to just dry clean like a normal vacuum or use the wet clean function to mop the floor; this can be accomplished with the use of its water tank. Of course, we can’t forget about the dust box capacity that also counts with 0.5 lts, this one is also larger that other models out in the market.

Something that we need to point out is the capacity of the water tank; it has a capacity of 0.5 lts which is slightly higher than other devices on the market that barely count with 0.4 lts.

If you’re scared that this little guy is going to bump against your furniture over and over until one of them is broken, then we have to tell that you should not fear, this device and pretty much every slightly good robotic vacuum comes with an anti-collision system to prevent any damage to both the device and your furniture.

Aside from the anti-collision system we also have an anti-falling system. The robot counts with 4 pairs of edge detection sensors; this means that when one of these 8 sensors feel an edge, the robot will automatically redirect to evade it. This is really a life-saver for those users that live in big houses or duplexes.

Also, you don’t have to worry about the environment of your house, this little robot works perfectly in a wide variety of surfaces that include: ceramic tile, wooden floor, carpet, marble, etc.

It also allows us to choose between 2 speeds: fast and slow. That’s for when you need your house clean ASAP or for when you can afford to let the robot take its time.

Something that we love about the Seebest D730 is that it allows us to set the time for when we want the device to start cleaning. Perfect for when we have to leave home, we just program the vacuum to start cleaning while we’re out on the street.

Don’t worry about the noise these devices make, pretty much every new robotic vacuum doesn’t make any noise at all. This vacuum is no different since it counts with 45 dB; that will provide very quiet cleaning sessions.

This device is also quite the hitchhiker; it can climb up slopes of up to 15 degrees.

And this little guy can clean in a radius of 10-15 square meters. So don’t worry, this little guy will be able to clean your house no matter if it’s big or small.

And last but not least, we can say that this device counts with an amazing suction power of 800 Pa. With that power, it can easily absorb dust, paper, hair, etc.

Battery:

A product that can’t clean for a long period of time is definitely not worth buying, but this is not the case with this device since it counts with a built-in 2200 mAh battery that will provide 2 whole hours of cleaning.

As for the charging time, we have 4 hours for it to be fully charged, it’s kind of a bummer to have to wait that much. But not everything is bad, this device counts with an automatic recharge system, this means that when the device runs low on battery, it will go to the charging stand by itself.

Is it worth it?

So, what can we say about this product? The only thing we can say is that is definitely worth buying, we’re not saying it’s perfect, that charging time really let us down, but we’re talking about a product that can really leave us with a clean house without any kind of issue. Also, there’s no other flaw to this product aside from the charging time.
